Default installing usb drivers for pre-windows operation

I am in the process of trying to fix this pc, and I am having issues with this pc recognizing anything usb since I wiped the hard drive.

How can I install USB drivers to use pre-windows boot or any drivers.

This computer was made to run win me, but i was only able to get win 98se because the gateway restore disks will only work on the gateway.

THERE ARE NO PS2 ports on the computer only USB

Default Re: installing usb drivers for pre-windows operation

are you referring to stuff like a usb keyboard?

you'll still be able to get into your bios with a usb keyboard - bang on F1, F2, F10, DEL, etc (or hit the key it tells you to hit if you see a message regarding it). in there try twiddling with usb keyboard support for dos.
