Party stopped working, phoned Party Support

They tell me I need to open port 2147, they say speak to your network administrator, whoever that is. I went to Microsoft.com and got intructions on opening new ports, but the instructions they gave were a) ambiguous and b) didn't match what I saw on the monitor, so I couldn't do it. Party was working yesterday and to my knowledge I have changed nothing.

I also managed to knock down my internet connection for the night, so I have to phone my ISP later on, maybe they can help with the port thing. I'd appreciate any ideas you guys might have, this stuff is alien to me.

PS I have a Netgear router (with hardware firewall) wired to 2 desktop PCs.
