Default Adjustments?

They're running satellites for a live major tournament at a nearby casino.

Structure Step 1, 10 players, top two get ticket to step 2,
1000 Starting chips, 15 min levels

Sturcture Step 2, 10 players, top two get tickets to main event, 1500 Starting chips 20 min levels

Blinds 25/25, 25/50, 50/75, 50/100, 200/400, 300/600 I think, either way very close.

What kind of adjustments are you making from a normal sit'n'go, they play no better than a $30+3 in step 1.

Thanks

Default Re: Adjustments?

15 minutes in a B&M tournament is pretty quick. You likely won't be getting too many hands in at each level. I would probably treat this almost like a turbo. If the players are weak like you say, it's worth it to LAG it up a bit, and play for a monster. Also, don't slowplay anything, bet your big hands for value.

Since the top 2 pay, if you're lucky enough to have a big stack near the bubble, be more cautious than you would in a normal SNG.
