Re: Do you call this river bet?
This hand is sooo much easier to play if you pot the flop. This river spot is ridiculous... I honestly don't know. I think I'd call, but I have my doubts as to whether that's the right play or not.

[/ QUOTE ] If I pot the flop, I guarantee not to get any further action with this hand. An argument can be made to bet more on the turn I guess, but I'm certain, I'm not giving him odds to draw to anything except perhaps AT of diamonds (because he thinks his ace might be live). |

Re: Do you call this river bet?
I guess I call. Too big a chance he thinks the diamond will scare you off. But, it's close.
I would have bet a bit more heavily earlier too, but not necessarily a full pot on the flop. |

Re: Do you call this river bet?
you gotta fold. you are getting 1320:360, or 3.6:1 odds on the call here, but the chance that villain doesn't have a 10 or the flush are almost surely greater than 78 %. Its a fold.

Re: Do you call this river bet?
I disagree, I think he'll show you some random 2 pair often enough to make the call OK.
That said, I make it 120 on the flop (it either hit him or didn't) and I'm probably all in overbetting the turn (80 billion hands still call.) |
