Default School help curiousity

Im probably gonna x-post this somewhere else, but a question I thought was interesting: How many posters can say that poker has HELPED them in school. I am taking a stats course here and frankly have not had to do much hard work cause I do most of the stuff for fun (i.e. poker). I also used the idea of cards to help me understand genetics better in biology. Anybody else have this happen to them

Poker hasn't really helped me in school academically. Only thing that it's been good for is doing combinatorics for an introductory probability course. I don't spend the time on making analogies of course material to poker, although I may try it out.
