Default Bet out or check raise on flop?

.10/.20 NLHE

Six limpers
Hero in SB with K8os ($40.00)

Flop: 583 rainbow ($1.20)
Hero checks
EP3 bets $1 everyone folds ($2.20)
Hero reraises to $4 ($6.20)

Wasn't sure what play would be optimal for a fold. I thought if someone bet I could come over the top with a large reraise and get him to fold.

I'd much rather c/c and see what the turn brings. Bloating/raising the pot with a weak TPGK OOP is not good. Folding is fine too.
