If I read it right you raised all-in?
If so, it is very likely you are ahead. Most of the time I would put him on an ace and a higher kicker. It also depends on if he was aggressive on more the tight kind of player. Against a tight one you're ahead most of the time and an aggressor might even raise with kicker lower than 8. When he has a set of 8's or 9's or even aces, you're nearly drawing dead. It mostly depends on the read you have on him. |

Looks like you are ahead of AK or AQ. I like the turn push. If villain has A8 or A9 you will have to pay him off.
He may have A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and thought he was pot-building on the turn. Otherwise that turn bet is very disconcerting, but I am not laying down two pair on this board. |
