Creating/Uploading GIF animation

I have recently tried to create a GIF animation (5 frames long, very simple collection of JPEGs), have tested it on my comp and it worked fine, and have tried to upload it to a website. Once on the website however, it ceases to work and only shows the last image in the animation.
I've done a little bit of personal troubleshooting on this myself, I'm using GIF Movie Gear and have made sure it's set to continuous play.
If anyone here has suggestions as to what might make this work, I'd be very appricative, Thank you.
