Default Protect from this table?

Is this flop raise correct?

In the heat of battle, I wasn't sure. Lots of callers and I KNOW nobody is going t ofold to my flop raise...so am I raising because KK will win this pot MORE than it's fair share of the time, or would it be more correct to wait and raise the turn?

You played it very well. You want to raise this flop because waiting for the turn to raise won't knock anyone out either. In other words, because you can't increase your edge and raise anyone out, you may as well maximize the volume on your existing edge and raise for value.

When deciding whether or not to wait for the turn to raise, one of the things you need to consider is the location of the likely turn bettor. If he is to your left, and he acts before you, then you can't invent any situations where the field is forced with calling 2 cold.
