Default Big Bets (more than 1/2 your remaining stack)

Is it worth it to make a bet more than 1/2 of your stack or more than 3/4 of your stack or should you just go all-in? Is it justified through a value bet?

Default Re: Big Bets (more than 1/2 your remaining stack)

Post specific hands for better responses.

It only makes sense if you're trying to extract a call from your opponent and do not think they will call an all in bet.

It can also be used at higher, thinking levels as a bluff that looks like a strong hand trying to extract a call.

99% of the time, though, you can just go all in, especially at the lower levels.
