Default $33 A5 hand...

I have always thought plays like this were standard, but I am starting to question my brain again. I'm sure this is a +EV push but I am a loser over my last 550 $33's and mostly cause of hands like this.

When you make this push, do you know you are up against AK-AT everytime like me?

Lucky for you I only have to lose 7 more BI's before I will be joining you at the $22's. Look forwad to a higher ROI because of my bad luck vaccum. Holer.

Out.

Yeah you have to push here. I ran like total [censored] in this spot in the 33s, but it is super high varience and really low value. Probably why almost half of my finishes are 4th-6th. You win um and look like a master and lose um and look like a donk. I was the latter.

Thanks for reply. Is it safe to assume there will be a time when I win like 10 of theswe in a row since I lost 150 in a row?

yep, this is a pretty standard push for me, you can't really afford to have the blinds eat you up at this point.

Blinds going up before they hit you?

If not I don't mind a fold here.

I usually push here but it's close. You really don't want to push and have three people behind you who can call. I actually like The Yugoslavian's line to fold this if the blinds aren't about to increase.

Personally, I'd rather open push with complete trash from the SB than push here. I'm trying to push hands like these from this position much less, but depending on the blind situation you may not have much choice.

Keep in mind that when you're pushing on the bubble your primary objective is to not be called. The fewer people left to act after you the better. Focus less on the particular hand (ie. "I have an ace") and more on the situation and where you can pick up blinds without confrontation.
