Al Qaeda cells in the USA

TALLAHASSEE, Florida (CNN) -- Dozens of al Qaeda terrorists in "sleeper" cells and members of other terrorist groups pose a threat within the United States, according to the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee.


"The estimate is that there are 100 or more al Qaeda operatives inside the United States, some who have been here for a considerable period of time, all of whom went through a training process to prepare them to carry out terrorist plots when they were called upon to do so," U.S. Sen. Bob Graham, D-Florida, said Friday on CNN's "Novak, Hunt and Shields."


"That probably is the most immediate threat of a terrorist attack against the United States."


In addition, there are perhaps a dozen or more other international terrorist organizations that also have agents inside the United States, he said.

We have heard this claim for many months now. Such stories were rampant immediately after the attacks. Yet there has been no evidence presented that these "sleeper cells" exist. How do you know this isn't a bunch of hype to keep the money flowing and the people cowed?

The al Qaeda attackers of 9/11 were the only al Qaeda members in the USA at the time, and bin Laden sincerely regrets his actions and will be opening for Elvis on his next tour.

If you simply read this board, then you will be exposed to anti-Americanism and pro-Islamic radicalism on a level which justifies surveillance by the authorities.

What are the chances that all the al Qaeda operatives in the USA committed suicide in the 9/11 attacks AND that none have arrived since 9/11? It is a moronic view that al Qaeda does not exist in the USA today, based on probability alone.
