Download gspot ( http://www.headbands.com/gspot/ ) and load the movie file in it. It will then tell you what codecs the video and sound are encoded in. Then download a suitable codec for the sound.
Reply with gspot output if you need more help.

You probably need an ac3 filter. Or simply download VideoLan Player; it does not require any video/audio codecs.
