flopped trips with bad kicker. getting action
after the villian called on the flop i thought i might be behind. do you ever fold this against a loose 25NL player without very good reads? I don't see what the intial raiser and villan would play like that that i beat.

Re: flopped trips with bad kicker. getting action
I think you played it fine and I'd never fold at $25 NL especially when that Ace comes on the river. If the players were absolutely horrid I'd think of betting the turn here.

Re: flopped trips with bad kicker. getting action
I like betting out on the flop, check-calling the turn and blocking the river.
As played, lead the turn and make a blocking bet on the river (or possibly induce a bluff by check-calling if he's aggressive). If he's too aggressive or bluffs a lot, check-calling the whole way is decent. Ryan |
