Default Party Poker Encash Offer???

Hi all

Hope this is in the right forum, but here it goes. Use to play a ton at party. Stopped playing there due to elimination of overhead reduction(wink). Any way it's been months, get this email from them saying i can cash in points for cash (still have a lot of pp points but maxed out on all the junk).

Anyway the offer was real unclear about what i need to do to qualify. If anyone knows what the deal is could you be so kind as to explain what it is???? These crytic offers are another reason i left them too.

thanks

something like 3335 points for $205. Seems like a pretty good deal, but in the past with these offers, there always seems to be hidden catches

My offer is 1190 points to get $80, which is not that bad of an offer to me, except I don't understand why they word it with "if you earn 1190 points you COULD earn a lot of cash." So I don't know if that means by earning the points I am put into a drawing or something or if it means I will just get the points.

How are party points accumulated?

Would be better to chase the $245 in bonus Party is offering or should I play just for my usual RB on Empire instead?

Do the math. But you're almost assuredly better off with your rakeback deal.

The rate at which you earn points is listed at https://secure.partypoker.com/my_acc...arnpoints.html

A rakeback deal at full ring 30/60 is worth approximately 7.5 cents/raked hand.

They offered me $425 for 9670 points. 9670 points = 10,700 raked hands. That would earn me $805 in rakeback. So the party points thing is almost twice as bad as rakeback. And this is for full ring. Shorthanded would be much worse.

It still said COULD earn the money? no one really addressed this. I have been playing bad beat tables today but will switch back to Empire if That would be better.

Thanks. It's not that I couldn't figure the math. I was unable to find the info you've linked to. RB is obviously much more profitable, as I suspected.
