Default Two Hands, Full House and AA

I let my girlfriend play today, she didn't do so well but she can hold her own, except for this bad beat. Would you play it any different - I wouldn't (although, I would have folded PF everyday of the week).
First, the full house:

Paradise Poker Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 1 fold, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Hero calls, Button calls, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (7 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (7 players)
SB bets, BB folds, UTG calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, Hero raises, Button 3-bets, SB caps, UTG folds, MP2 folds, Hero calls, Button calls.

Turn: (10.50 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, Button 3-bets, SB caps, Hero calls, Button calls.

River: (22.50 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, Button folds, SB 3-bets, Hero caps, SB calls.

Final Pot: 30.50 BB

hero lost (showed hand) [ 7c Ks ] (a full house, kings full of sevens)
SB bet (showed hand) [ Qs Kh ] (a full house, kings
full of queens)

Thoughts?? Any way to know you are behind here??

-----

Then I sat down (at a different table, higher limit) to earn back what she lost:

Paradise Poker Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises, 4 folds, SB calls, BB calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (8 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, BB calls, UTG+1 calls, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (8 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB calls, UTG+1 calls.

River: (12 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB folds, UTG+1 checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 12 BB

I didn't bet the turn for fear of being behind to two pair or straight. Maybe I lost out on a couple of BB, but lately I've been taking the free showdown. Is this a mistake?

The first hand is NOT a bad beat. You(r 'girl') were/was behind the whole way.

And I agree with Myles for #2.

that was supposed to be a joke

I know no one has shown anything that can beat me, but at this nano limit people tend to call everything down to the river and then flip over flushes/straights/trips...whatever. So, I was ahead in this hand but why not take a free show down rather than get c/r to someone who is ahead of me.

i doubt you are winning at .50/1 let alone higher levels to win back what she has won by checking rivers like hand 2.

also, if you need to ask 'is there anyway to know you're behind' in hand 1, you really suck. sorry.

I'll bet blunt: this is terrible poker.

I recommend that you read Small Stakes Hold 'Em by Ed miller, David Sklansky, and Mason Malmouth. And read it many, many times over.

Grunch:

Hand One--

Pre-flop: fold
Flop: just call 3-bet (I think you could be up against K/Q, pocket 7s, or perhaps oesd)
Turn: fold to cap (Unless villians are complete loose morons or flush chasers I don't see you ahead here)
River: call 3-bet (You would still be behind K/Q)

Hand Two--

I would've played this the same.
