Default Burning DVDs

I have a bunch of TV shows/movies I want to back up on DVD. My laptop came with a DVD burner. What is the best way of doing this? I just went out and bought some DVD+R disks. Some of the files at 8 GB, so they would need two disks. Any good software for this?

look for DVD Shrink....I think it will do 1->2 "disc" burns. It will compress the file to 1 disc if anything.
