Eugh, these situations stink. You have committed 900 chips and you have 510 left. I would go with it and hope not to see 10 10 or KK. The fact that you posted this suggests he had you beat, but hey.

first off, you're already committed 2/3 of your stack with an overpair, you cant fold to a single raise. he's going to show you a set or KK or AA sometimes, but there's always the chance he's got AdKd, JJ, 99 or something worse.

Why don't you push this flop? The pot is 850 and you only have 1000 left behind.

I think you clearly have to call his reraise and hope he has JJ.

I didn't really think about it until I considered my options after the reraise and realized I'd only have ~500 chips left if I folded. Not good, but still hope.....

I think not calling here is pretty bad. Even though you're beat quite a lot of the time, you're pretty much pot-committed at this point.

Laying down here would be terrible. Pushing the flop and betting this much isn't that different.
