Eugh, these situations stink. You have committed 900 chips and you have 510 left. I would go with it and hope not to see 10 10 or KK. The fact that you posted this suggests he had you beat, but hey.

Re: 55: QQ in SB. Level 4
first off, you're already committed 2/3 of your stack with an overpair, you cant fold to a single raise. he's going to show you a set or KK or AA sometimes, but there's always the chance he's got AdKd, JJ, 99 or something worse.

Re: 55: QQ in SB. Level 4
Why don't you push this flop? The pot is 850 and you only have 1000 left behind.
I think you clearly have to call his reraise and hope he has JJ. |

Re: 55: QQ in SB. Level 4
I didn't push to begin with because I wasn't thinking that far in advance! I'm still learning.
I didn't really think about it until I considered my options after the reraise and realized I'd only have ~500 chips left if I folded. Not good, but still hope..... Hmmmmmmm........ |

Re: 55: QQ in SB. Level 4
I think not calling here is pretty bad. Even though you're beat quite a lot of the time, you're pretty much pot-committed at this point.

I figured I was beat, but I did call.

Laying down here would be terrible. Pushing the flop and betting this much isn't that different.
