Default OT: What happened to PP $5+1 SnG\'s?

I'm most probably going to get flamed for this, but here goes...

I'm wondering if anyone else noticed that the play at $5+1's Party's tightening up. Usually by the time the blinds get to 50/100 it's about 4-5 handed, but now the norm appears to be 7-8 handed. Sticking to the tight-early loose late guideline leaves me with very few chips (600ish) with monstrous blinds, and tons of all in callers.

I don't think time of day's playing a huge factor here, because I'm playing one late morning, an afternoon one here, and a couple night games there, and all of them (for the most part) has followed this trend.

I really don't mean to complain, that's not the point of this post, basically I don't know how to adapt to 7-8 handed late stage SnG play. Any pointers?

Thanks a ton!

I think you misunderstood my post, I'm not basing this off of four games, I'm basing it off of something closer to 15-20.

Thanks for being gentle though

i dunno...i'm still finding games where 1 guy busts out on hand 1 and 3-5 more drop like flies before blinds are up to 25/50. some horrible plays i've seen lately. it's as if you have to try hard to finish worse than 4th.

You should be flamed just for playing those when 10+1 are available.
