River top two, whats your play?
villain has vpip of 50/14.29 and seems a little loose postflop (he is also quite aggressive postflop)

Hero posts a blind of $3. 2 folds, Hero (poster) raises to $27, BB calls $24. Flop: ($60) 4, T, 6 (3 players) Hero bets $58, BB calls $58. Re: River top two, whats your play?
Why 27$ preflop? Thats tooo much. It makes the pot big early OOP with a hand that isnt worth much. If you make it 9$ preflop then bet 15 on the flop and 40 on the turn the hand would play much different and you wouldnt be guessing OOP with only TPTK.
I also dont think villian calls such a big raise pf with a hand that doesnt deserve a call. There are basically no hands that you can beat on the turn, except a worse T(which probbaly folded pf) or maybe a pair of 99s or 88s or something. Check/fold unless this guy was a totaly maniac who would call you pf and on the flop trying to outplay you. |
