No sound

All of the sudden my computer won;t play any sounds. My speakers are plugged in and everything. I installed a second hard drive and a second DVD drive today, could this have messed anything up somehow?

I basically have no idea what to do, so any generic suggestions you might have would be nice.

Well, you could go to “Control Panel” and then select “Sounds etc” and see if the sound has been muted.
