New to Omaha high, overplayed top set?
I recently started playing PLOH shorthanded on Party. I know you are supposed to only draw to the nuts in Omaha and not slowplay big hands. Other than that, I am pretty much a noob. Does there happen to be a HH converter for Omaha?
My read was that the PF raiser had an overpair (after he lead the flop for full pot) and that the coldcaller could have had a wide range... from a flush draw to a straight draw to bottom two. I checkraised full pot to protect my hand and to make it a big mistake for the nut flush draw to call without straight outs. Is this the correct move or is there a better line for a hand like this? $50 PL Omaha - Sunday, October 02, 04:47:53 EDT 2005 Table Table 63823 (6 max) (No DP) (Real Money) Seat 3 is the button Total number of players : 6 Seat 3: kcooke2442 ( $132.96 ) Seat 5: KEASU85 ( $0 ) Seat 4: HERO ( $106.51 ) Seat 1: AndrewJ11 ( $63.90 ) Seat 6: warrior45 ( $114.10 ) Seat 2: memberley ( $56.30 ) HERO posts small blind [$0.25]. warrior45 posts big blind [$0.50]. ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to HERO [ Js Jh Qd Kc ] AndrewJ11 calls [$0.50]. memberley calls [$0.50]. kcooke2442 calls [$0.50]. Re: New to Omaha high, overplayed top set?
If the board wasn't so draw happy I would smoothcall or raise less(if you often bet less than pot), but given the straight and flush potential I would play it the same way
