Reload Question

For the reload bonuses, do you have to redeposit? For example, if you have $50 dollars at Party and they offer a reload, can you enter the bonus code and have your existing $50 count towards the reload, or does it all have to be new money? Seems like they would be punishing people for NOT taking money out on a regular basis if this weren't so.
