$11 Pokerstars AA on Bubble
Sorry, no hand history, I'm at work.
4 people left, blinds are 200/400/50, I'm in the SB. Stacks are approximately: UTG 1200 Button 1500 SB 4800 BB 6000 The last 2 orbits (and at least 3 times in the game), I had raised the BB preflop to 2-3BB, but then checked/folded when the flop was unfavorable. SB is dealt (AA) UTG pushes, Button folds. My thought process here is that I want to get the BB in for the ride, so I lean towards just calling the push, which is about what I would have raised if it had been folded to me. This gives the BB good odds for a call, and may induce a push to isolate the all in (which is what I was really hoping for). Your thoughts? |

Re: $11 Pokerstars AA on Bubble
I'm calling here for exactly the reasons you give. If BB just calls, use your read on him to get your money in on the flop however you think you can. He'll probably go for the cooperation checkdown, but you can give it a shot.
