San Diego Poker Players...

I will be visiting San Diego sometime this spring.


Anyway, I wanted to know what kind of poker there is in San Diego and where I should go play.


I am looking for middle limit hold'em and hopefully good free food.


What kind of collection/time charges/rake do they have in that area?

I haven't been to the Indian reservations (located inland from the city) in the last few years but about a half hour north of the city is Ocean's 11 in Oceanside. This is probably one of the nicest medium size card rooms in the area with plenty of action, good food, and good games.


There is also a room in Chula Vista but I don't know much about it.

I was at the Indian Reservation last spring. It was the on inland of San Diego, about a 20 minute drive (not bad). The name started with a V (I think is call Viejas, I know the sp is wrong). It was a pretty nice poker room (about 30+ tables) on the second floor. I haven't been to ocean 11 yet, but I recommend checking this place out.
