Hate min-raise/min bets... what do they mean?
No reads on villian. I appreciate my turn bet was poor, but that's the point of this post. Why does he donk min-bet here? Is he drawing to something or does he have a monster?
I suppose there's no real draws here so do I assume he has me beat or am I weak here? I'm not really after comments on my play cos I know it was poor already on most streets. But why does he min-bet the turn what could he hold?! I hate donk bets... They mean they have overcards or a middle/low pair.

Re: Hate min-raise/min bets... what do they mean?
Call the turn and make a blocking bet at the river. Typically min-raises are either (1) good, but not great hands that villain wants to "raise for information" with because he read about that in a book somewhere, but not good enough to make a significant investment in chips to really get the information that he is looking for (underpairs pocket pairs, 2nd button, unpaired overcards, Axs with a low pair, TPWK, etc.), OR (2) a really big hand that villain is trying to get you to put a little more money in without scaring you off. My least favorite type of bet in category (2) is when somebody leads into me on a flop in which I was the preflop raiser with a $1 bet, then re-raises me all in after my continuation raise to about 3/4 pot over his $1 bet (I fold and laugh at that one).
If villain has a type (1) hand, he'll probably call your blocking bet and you'll win. If villain has a type (2) hand, he'll probably get greedy on the river and overbet - allowing you to fold out (unless you have a read on villain as making big river bluffs before). |

It's what comes out when they press the raise button
