Is he trying to buy it?
$1/$2 NL. I'm on the button with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. There are two limpers already in. I limp as well. SB completes, BB checks.
Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Everyone checks. Turn: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. It checks to me, I bet $8. BB raises $8 more. Everyone else folds, I call. River: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. BB bets $30. I can't see him checking a Queen twice, but then again, maybe he did. He could also have a boat, or he could be going for a re-steal, since I bet from the button after it checked around twice. What do I do? |

Re: Is he trying to buy it?
i'd fold. he isn't giving you very good odds on a call. you can lay down the winner in spots like this with some regularity in NL and still crush the games you play in.
