Correct use of poker tracker stat?
Ok, I just want to see if I used poker tracker properly here:
I was at about 10BB/100 after 17,000 hands of 50NL. At that point I moved to 100NL. I now have 7600 hands of stats at 100NL, and I'm at 2BB/100. I feel I've been getting very cold carded, and wanted to see if this was the case. In particular I felt that my pocket pairs had been underperforming. I almost always see a flop with my pocket pairs. You get a pocket pair about 1/17 hands, and they hit a set about 1/7.5 times. So after 7600 hands I should have had about 60 sets. So I open up poker tracker, go to the miscellaneous tab, click "dont show hands that were folded" and look at the hands I had with three of a kind. I then scroll down and count the number of those hands which were sets (rather than trips), and get only 31. So my pocket pairs have been performing badly as I thought, right? I'm asking because Im surprised they could be perfoming *that* badly. |

Re: Correct use of poker tracker stat?
?
I'm just asking whether I'm correct that during these 7600 hands, my pocket pairs have made sets about half as often as they should have. |

Re: Correct use of poker tracker stat?
If you saw the flop 100% of the time when you had a PP, you should have 60 sets.
However, you don't see anywhere near 100% of flops with PP's, and you also forgot to look for 4 of a kind/FH's under that stat. |
