Perhaps honesty is not such a redeeming trait in poker, my friend?

Okay so it's 5-1 against us right now. That means only 16.6667% of us are telling the truth

I finally realized that you can't believe people who say they make money playing poker unless you can make a judgement from other things they say. More than 90% of poker accounts are losing accounts-- the rake is just that bad. So when someone says that poker is their hobby I now feel it is safe to assume with 90% certainty that they lose money. A large percentage of people who lie about their profit can do it so convincingly because they've deluded themselves into thinking that they are a winning player as long as you don't count those bad days.

Yes, but this forum has more winning players as a % than the general public out there.

Well, I voted yes but my "long term" is between 500-1000 SnGs, does that count?

Define Longterm.

Also I don't think you have to have actually WON in the longterm or more to the point even played in the longterm to BE a longterm winner.

And I better be a longterm winner or at least really lucky or I'm going to be very sad in a year or so
