Default KK vs re-re-raise all-in pre-flop.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Hero ($25.45)
SB ($46.85)
BB ($37)
UTG ($41.20)
MP ($88.60)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
UTG calls $0.25, MP raises to $0.75, Hero raises to $2, 2 folds, UTG folds, MP calls $87.85 (All-In), Hero ?

Villain is 44%/17%/2.33 - only 29 hands.

Only seen 2 hands go to showdown so hard to place him on hands.
On one he had called 4BB pre-flop w/AJo, hit 2 pair and lost to a set.

On the other he flopped 4 of a kind 5s. I managed to fold KK on that hand on the flop (pleased with that one).

So, is a raise, re-raise, re-re-raise almost always AA?

Call, and you know this, also, raise to 3 or 4 instead of 2.

you layed down KK on a trip flop? amazing read.

As for this hand, i call it all day long unless i have a monster tell on him for aces. shitty thing is, this will be either aces or rags, rarely anything inbetween. You only got 25 left, i'd call and be prepared to reload.

Not so sure. At this level I have very rarely seen this without at least KK.

This I am sure of. Realised it immediately.

UTG bets $2, Button calls $2 (All-In).

Final Pot: $23.10

Results in white below:

I folded (chicken), so I never got to see what he had. Claimed he had QQ but I never tell the truth so I can't assume he did.

Are you kidding me, Ive seen this done with 22-aa, a10s-aks. It all depends on your read. Now if he had pfr of 3-5%, you can make an argument for folding. 17% INSTACALL and its not even close. If he has AA, tough, reload.

Oh well.

Seems I really screwed up this one.
Got to learn to follow the players' stats more closely.

hehe, at least you didn't word it as "folded my kings full to suspected quads".

but one thing I want to point you to, notice how unbelievably weak he played his nuts. Granted this doesn't neccesarily mean he would do the same with the preflop nuts but it does raise suspicions.

I've seen this with 27o on prima 50NL, you really shouldn't fold without a super read >_<
