Paradise Poker - .5/1 - Hand #3
I'm in UTG+4: J [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img]
UTG fold. UTG+1 Raise. 2 players fold. I call. (I guess hoping others will fold. And hoping my his high cards will not hit. This must be a really bad play... Also, if I really thought I could get the raiser heads up I should raise. Right?) Anyway. Got lucky. All others fold. Heads up. Flop: 3-4-3 rainbow. I'm thiking if he has A-K I'm doing ok. Pre-flop raiser bets. I raise. He calls. (If he re-raises I fold. Correct?) Turn: A [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] He bets. I fold. (Didn't think I had a chance so why waste a bet?) |

id have reraised preflop. this will also help you define his hand quicker in many cases. knowing the players raising standards also helps.

If you want to get heads up, you should raise pre-flop. It should also be a tight 0.5/1 game to try this.
Folding the turn is fine. |
