Another boring BrassMonkey Hand? Maybe... $109
Alright guys, hopefully this one is more interesting... I'm trying, dammit!
Here's the line on G. G is the lone blind, the hand after a hand in which he lost a bunch of chips on an AK (what G had), AQ, J 10 (!) all-in. Yup, you guessed it - the J 10 won, and G wasn't happy about it. Knowing that, what do you do with this JJ after an initial bet of 150 is met by an all-in by G? Super interesting, right? Heh. NL Texas Hold'em $100 Buy-in + $9 Entry Fee Level:3 Blinds(25/50) Seat 8 is the button Total number of players : 9 Seat 7: S ( $1575 ) Seat 8: H ( $780 ) Seat 10: G ( $1320 ) Seat 1: C ( $930 ) Seat 4: Hero ( $900 ) Seat 6: P ( $1125 ) Seat 2: R ( $1335 ) Seat 3: B ( $1095 ) Seat 5: Q ( $940 ) Level:3 Blinds(25/50) There is no Small Blind in this hand as the Big Blind of the previous hand left the table. ** Dealing down cards ** Dealt to Hero [ Jc Jh ] C folds. R folds. B folds. Hero raises [150]. Q folds. P folds. S folds. H folds. G raises [1050]. Hero? |

This is not an auto call against every opponent (although I'm calling a fair bit more than I'm folding), but given your description of the opponent I'd call.

Okay, good, I'm glad you all agree with my call. I figured it was close. What's the weakest hand with which you'd make this call?
As a reward, you get to see my ugly beat. Donkey bitch won the whole tournament, too... See, I promised "interesting", and boy did I deliver! G raises [1050]. Hero is all-In [750] ** Dealing Flop ** [ 8d, 5d, 9h ] ** Dealing Turn ** [ 4h ] ** Dealing River ** [ 6s ] G shows [ 7d, 7c ] a straight, five to nine. Hero shows [ Jc, Jh ] a pair of jacks. G wins 200 chips from side pot #1 with a straight, five to nine. G wins 1800 chips from the main pot with a straight, five to nine. Hero finished in ninth place. Hero has left the table. |

I was about to reply that when people make these "tilt pushes" they normally have something decent, but not a monster like a medium PP. Then I read the results . . . I finally got one right!
I think you're way ahead of his range here in general, so yeah, call. |
