Looks fine to me, you aren't expecting him to fold pocket jacks are you.. This is +Ev even if he calls with any pair, any ace, a few kings and maybe QJ. If he is looser than that it becomes increasingly worse. Disregarding reads i would push this unless i had pushed into him alot before.

Basically it was the 1st push i had made all game.

No i did not expect him to fold alot of hands here. I was just curious if i would have been better served to fold and wait for a decent hand to push.
