Default PP Step Tourneys? Worth it?

Are they worth it? It seems like a good deal to me, but thats just because I am a novice STT and MTT player. Also if they are worth it, you suggest I play the mini steps? I am still fairly new, have a good understanding of STT and MTT and am doing well in the $5+1 STT on PP right now.

As has been mentioned before, the steps are a mixed bag. Good players will struggle in the early rounds with the loose players/bad beats, whereas the low limit players will SEVERELY struggle if they manage to progress to the higher steps.
