Default 33: Don\'t go broke in an unraised pot, right?

Is this incredibly loose and stupid on my part?

Raise flop fold to the turn push.

Not the worst play. I have done the same thing in the past.

"hmmmmmmmm. no sir...don't like it"

check PF - no prob...OOP, yadayadayada
raise the crap out of this flop lead though - this is the point to take it down

his turn push? one of two things: 1) donk push w/ who-knows-what over what was ultimately a very weak turn "continuation" lead 2) 2-pair or worse.

i'm ditching this one. i just can't see your ace being good here. with position, a "worse ace" is not likely making such a bold move here...considering his [yawn]/call on the flop. i'm folding this one.

ps. i'm not advocating you raising THIS turn in line. flop was the time/place IMO.

No this is not incredibly loose and stupid, this is a 33 after all.

I actually kind of like the way you played it, calling behind on flop is dodgy but I think you have to do this sometimes, then you got called behind which I dont like and the turn card really really sucks, you are now in a tough spot and it's hard to say what you should do.

You decided to do what you did and I don't think it's so bad. Even in 55's the raiser will have something stupid sometimes and I would not always call this but wouldn't always fold either. I would do what my first instinct told me to do here, first instincts are usually correct, overrule them with analysis at your peril and that's why I can't think of a better answer, tough spot and I wasn't there.
