Overplaying/Underplaying Overpairs
In reviewing my play in PokerTracker, I feel like I've been playing my 99-JJ hands poorly--especially when the flop is unders and the turn brings an over. Either I play too hard when behind or miss bets by letting chasers off the hook.
Here's an example hand: Villian is 12/5.5 over 144 hands (not all of them from this session). Rated as a $-bag. Hero is 10/5 at this table (say 60ish hands) and is down about 1/2 a buy-in. Anyone play this hand any differently (esp interested in turn suggestions)? Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Re: Overplaying/Underplaying Overpairs
I like the play up until the turn. Here I think it better to check call down to the river.
