Re: AK vs. Aggro
Raise PF, pot the flop, get it all in on the turn.

Re: AK vs. Aggro
you really weren't facing to much aggro. why did you check the flop if you weren't going for a c/r?

Re: AK vs. Aggro
Raise pre-flop. If you're not going to lead this flop, check-raise the turn all-in.

Re: AK vs. Aggro
Looks OK preflop and flop, as some sort of mixing it up from your normal gameplan. You can make alot of $$$ by varying your play like this if you're smart and careful and read villians well. With your line though, I would rather see a c/r on the turn if your pretty sure he will bet the turn.

Re: AK vs. Aggro
At 50$ NL, I really don't think "mixing it up" is much of a consideration. ABC gets the money.

Re: AK vs. Aggro
AJ, we don't really need to mix it up that much on 50NL do we?

I was a goofball who didn't know anything about bankroll management when I started. So, I jumped right into the $100 pond and haven't played lower. So, I guess I don't know. I think there is some merit, no matter the level, in trying to extract more value out of your made hands, and that's how I looked at this hand. |
