My first thought here is to call. However, after running some simulations calling seems to be -EV considering that the shortstack has only t868 chips.
What do you guys think?

I agree with the simulations, it's probably -EV to call.

i'd call. you're way ahead of bb's range with dead money in the pot. if the shorty had 1 chip i'd think about it, but i think this is a pretty clear call.

Being ITM already, if you want to win, you need to take some risks. I'd call here and take a chance.

He's probably got a pocket pair or A-K. A-K your SOL, but PP it's a coin flip.

Earlier in a tourney I'm folding this

I'd call here. It's very likely the BB thought you were trying to steal here and could be pushing with a wide range of hands. If the shortstack had less chips I'd consider folding but if you fold here and he's able to double up shortly after you're going to be about even in chips so I'd call and go for the win.

At the $22s: Gamble for 1st, settle for 3rd.

I think you are ahead of most hands here. Coin flip on pretty much everything else. If he turns AA, drop a GG on him and fire up another....and don't forget to ask redwonder for a cut of his 2nd place winning.

Because of the stack sizes and blind sizes, against an aggressive BB I am just calling preflop. When he raises me, push. Put him to the decision.

If he's not aggressive, you aren't crushing his range here and can safely fold.
