Default Hold\'em skill development by playing other forms of poker

If my goal in the long run is to develop the best NL Hold'em skills, how beneficial would it be to learn to play Stud/Omaha/Limit etc... Would spending my time learning these forms of poker help out my NL Hold'em skills, or am I better suited concetrating on my game of choice?

Omaha is very math dependent, espicially 08, although im a relative beginner at both.
you need to be constantly examining pot odds and the odds of improving/ odds of your opponents improving.
