Default defending the big blind

This is the biggest leak in my game. i am never really sure when i should call a raise in the big blind. Lets say that all the raises come from mp, from an avg player. No one calls, and you are left alone. Call or fold?

1. 10Jo
2. JQo
3. 10Ko
4. A10o
5. A6s

how about if there were 3 other callers? does that change anything? with any of these hands, i am likey to be dominated, so whats the point of calling w/out position anyway??? im confused...

Default Re: defending the big blind

Hi Vkotlyar.
There are no hard and fast rules. If my opponent would raise with much lesser hands, then I would call all of the above. With 3 opponents, It would depend on who was in the pot and where the raise came from. Against tighter players, A-10o and K-10o go in the muck, against looser players that will come in with worse hands, again, I'd play them all.
From a player in a steal position, I'd call and re-raise with all of these hands at various times to send a message that my blinds are not up for grabs in future hands.
