Donk play with AK?
full table, im in CO, blinds 15/30 (level 2) stacks 1500 each roughly, i have AKo
UTG raises to 60, i raise to 200, he minraises to 400, i call, flop is some 10 high rainbow garbage, nothing connected he bets out 200, i fold (??) [everyone else involved in the hand folded.] This looks awful when I think about it, but the way he played (double minraising) seems so donky like it would _have_ to be AA KK QQ for sure. |

Re: Donk play with AK?
Just me, mind you...
I don't reraise w/ AK in the early levels. Unopened, or over a limper or two - sure. You have a decent pot, and likely position (at least over the OR). Take it to the flop and act "accordingly". I'm folding this flop action too btw. |

I don't reraise w/ AK in the early levels. [/ QUOTE ] Especially from an UTG raise. Without a read, you have to respect this. Unless he is super-aggressive, the only possible hands I put him on and beat are AQ and AJ. Call, and rely on your post-flop play. |
