Default Greyhound buses to NO

The mayor of New Orleans requested that every Greyhound bus get to New Orleans right now. Will this happen? If not, why not?

Is this what the mayor of new orleans is doing? sitting around making weird random requests like this? if the roads are open, and people can get to places they can catch buses, then why the hell aren't they getting their own asses out of there, instead of standing around waiting for buses?

Stop trying to make private enterprises into some kind of scapegoat in this if they don't make it their responsibility to save everyone. people need take responsibility for themselves.

Greyhound is a private company who is under no obligation to listen to the mayor of New Orleans.

Greyhound has huge fixed assets (busses) that need to be in constant use for the company to make money.

where would greyhound bring all the people?

sending all greyhound busses to nola would essentially shut the company down for a week or more.

doesn't the area already have thousands of school buses?

while greyhound could certainly repurpose buses in the area for this purpose, I think this is a strange plea.
