2001fp usb ports

Do I have to do anything in particular to activate these ports? I plugged in my ipod and it doesn't seem to be registering. I tried plougging in my mouse too, no dice.

Did you connect the monitor to a USB port on your computer? Look for a USB input on the back of your monitor and run a USB cable from a USB port on your computer to the USB input on the monitor.
