Default Folded to the cutoff, who...calls?

Wierd online 10-20 game, swinging from agressive to passive and back again in seconds. See below:

I have J [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] in the small blind.

Action is folded to the cutoff who...limps. The button limps as well (or as another 2+2 poster might say, overcalls). I've seen this at lower online limits, but rarely at 10-20 or higher. I'm not really sure what to make of it, and elect to call. The big blind checks. Four of us see a flop of:

4 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] j [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img]

I decide to check with the intention of raising. The big blind bets, the cutoff raises, and the button three-bets. Hrrm.

What's my action, and why?

I've seen David Sklansky do this at 30-60. He folded to a flop bet on a ragged board.

As for the hand, I don't like your chances of being ahead and holding up.

i think the 3bet cremated you. gotta fold.

as far as the limp/limp preflop, i don't think it's that crazy. i wouldn't do it, but i've seen it often enough with stuff like 44.

Nice looking flop for you but I can't see you being ahead after all that action. I'de even muck AJ there.

hi diplomat
fold here. you're out-kicked and have no draw to the nuts. you do have 5 outs, but you can't like the board pairing here. not nearly enough to continue with the hand.

You have to fold. It seems very unlikely that you are in the lead or level and if you are behind you could be well beaten. There is likely to be a further raise also.

In an Online 10/20 game an open limp from the co, in my experience, usually means a big pair. They worry about everyone folding to their raise (your assessment of the BB is very important here - if he folds his blind a lot then I'd be almost certain that the co had a big pair).

Just as a further point, in the same hand if the co had open raised, the button cold called, and you and the BB called, I don't think it makes a difference to your play. You still have to fold.

I folded, as most people here recommend. The river and turns were blanks, and the cutoff rolled over AA, only to beat by the button's 4 5 .

I posted this hand because I found the cutoff and button's open limps to be strange. Thanks for the comments.
