I bet like 450 here. There's no reason to think you're beat at this point, and 450 is going to give him bad odds to draw to whatever it is he may be drawing to.

Maybe so, but I think there are a lot of hands you can put him on that you are ahead of, and some that you have a decent number of outs against like if he has two pair.

I think its most likely he has a 9 in this situation, but if Blue posted this hand, that could mean he ran into a set.

Lotta people saw the flop. You made a big raise and got two calls. I think it's time to slow down.

My read is Villain has a weak suited Ace (A3, A4, A6) and is hoping to complete the straight and trap or snag another ace.

If he held A3, he checks to trap. If he holds A4 or A6, he checks looking (still) for the Ace or 3 and hoping for a cheap or free card.

You are betting into a monster (made straight or trips) or a 6-outer. I would probably check and take the free river this early in the tourney and raise/fold as dictacted by the action.

Geez, I've been playing way too much Omaha HL...

So Villain coldcalled a bet and a raise on a 952 board with A3, A4, or A6? And those are exactly the three hands you put him on? Umm...OK.

I check this turn and see if he's making a value bet or does something weirder.

Three hands into the event there are no reads. Just looked plausible to me that villain would play any of these three hands the way he did.

We agree on the turn play and that makes me feel a little better. NoobMcSlack
