help met connect to my schools wireless connection - ubuntu

my schools network uses Protected EAP for authetication, but ubuntu is only letting me configure for WEP. How do i make this change?

either your wireless hardware or the driver or utility you are using for the hardware does not support EAP. This can be the case in older hardware.
