specifically tonight is my first night in Union Square and i know sfer eats around here, just looking for suggestions in general but union square specifically if you knwo em.

Republic is pretty cool. Loud though.

Union Square West and 17th, I think. Maybe a bit south.

Two I went to recently that I really liked:

Grimaldi's in Brooklyn (pizza)
Woo Lae Oak in SoHo (Korean barbeque, excellent)

just throwing that out there, i'd like to hear pricey suggestions as well, really any restaruant worth it's price.
