Default Gotta fold Kings here, right? ($55)

This is probably a trivial situation, but I've been doubting myself lately. I have to fold this, right?

Villain autocalled really fast on the flop. He previously raised a minbet on a raggedy flop and bet/folded the river after someone came over the top. That's about the only info I have on him other than limp/folded a couple other hands.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (8 handed) converter

UTG (t1810)
UTG+1 (t940)
MP1 (t1260)
MP2 (t945)
CO (t1000)
Button (t985)
Hero (t845)
BB (t2215)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Flop: (t290) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets t150, UTG+1 calls t150.

Turn: (t590) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 raises all-in to t660, Hero folds.

Final Pot: t590

What was your reason for checking the turn?

I ask because it might have invited a bluff/semi-bluff from him.

I don't think this is trivial at all. I would find it hard to lay down KK here with the pot so big already and based on your description of villain he could have just about anything. He could have you beat but after you check the turn it's also very tempting for him to semibluff with some kind very vulnerable pair.

I hate your flop bet. I would make an absolutely pot committing bet. I might just move allin, but I will not give myself any chance of making a bad fold later in the hand by making a tiny $150 chip bet on such a coordinated board.

Why make such a small bet on a 987 flop when the chips in the pot almost represent half your stack?? It's like you are trying to create ways to convince yourself to fold later.

Totally agree with Curtains, with the pot a little less then 300 chips I would at least bet the pot here
