Default Party 10-20 flopped full house, now what?

5 limp to me in SB (2200 in chips) with 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] , I call.

Flop 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] pot 100

checked around

Turn 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet $85 folded to button (1800 in chips) who calls (pot 270)

river 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I bet 150 button raises to 600 (pot 1020)

Hero?

How else could I have played this?

This is an easy flop lead. Often someone will have an ace, and often you will get action. I fold this river more often than not.

well you could play this infinite ways, but if you wanted to play it better, you could:
raise preflop.
bet flop.
check river.

The whole reason you play 10 handed NL is to win big pots. The only way you win a big pot here is if someone has an ace. The way you played it, you have to hope that someone hits a runner runner flush, a gutshot straight, or a lower boat. If no one has an ace, you are probably not getting paid off anyway. Betting out lets you maximize value from those that limped with AJ,AQ.
