Default $100 for a monitor for non-overlap 4 tabling

I have about $100 to spend on a monitor and I would like to be able to 4 table without overlap. I have heard that there are CRT monitors with 1200x1600 resolution for a reasonable price. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Find a local used computer or computer parts store. Not Compusa but a little hole in the wall place that fixes computers and sells parts or used computers They will have about 100 monitors lying around for under $100. You will have to do some research after you review their selection but you will probably find what you are looking for.

IMHO however, you should not be too concerned about a little overlap. I recently got a second 19" LCD monitor and it has a little overlap but is still a huge improvement over a single monitor. THere is an FAQ in the Zoo which liks a multi monitor FAQ which has pics about overlap. Save yourself the $ and live with some overlap

I tried that, and had no luck finding any bargain prices for a decent monitor. I soon found I could get a better deal buying new.

I have 2 1600x1200 CRTs that are great. One is a refurbished Dell 21" I bought from Overstock.com for about $250 (they charge under $3 an order for shipping anything, even a huge CRT). The other is a Samsung 19" brand new from Best Buy for $179. You will sometimes find a 19" 1600x1200 on sale at some place like Office Depot for much less, but the refresh rate is so slow it will fry your eyeballs. You get what you pay for.

I have an old school sony G400 19in CRT. I have had it for nearly 5 years. It can do 4 tables in 1600x1200 on my current video card.

Newegg has a couple of monitors for less than $100 that do 1600*1200. But the refreshrate and quality will be very bad I promise. Save some more and buy a better one. I always get an over average monitor when I buy one and I never regret it. I rather have a little slower cpu and less memory but a realy good monitor it makes such a difference.
